Delete the cache and data in PAX devices.

Clearing the cache of the Handpoint Payments app can be helpful when the reader has been acting strangely and going through different changes for troubleshooting.

  1. Navigate to the Android settings of the terminal (not the app)

  2. Use password pax9876@@ or 9876 when required

  3. Go to the Apps section 

  4. Locate the Handpoint app (or the payments app you use)

  5. Go to Storage

  6. Select CLEAR DATA (this will clear both cache and data)
