Reassigning devices between merchants

It often happens that ISVs deploy terminals for one-off events and will want devices to be moved between different merchants. This is possible through the Handpoint TMS by unassigning and reassigning terminals between merchants.

Unassign terminal

2. Search for the unassigned terminal and click “Assign terminal”

3. Select the merchant to who the terminal should be assigned and enter the correct credentials for your acquirer

5. Restart the application, the new configuration will be downloaded behind the scenes and the user should be able to start processing under the new account.
