Using the Handpoint card readers as stand alone, the merchants can take payments on the go without a specific point-of-sale integration. Handpoint offers an application that is simple to use, yet packed with functionalities on both the smartPOS terminals and for mobile devices connected to the HiLite terminal (mPOS). Standalone SmartPOS application

Handpoint offers a powerful standalone application allowing your merchants to take payments on the smartPOS terminals without being connected to a point-of-sale software. Merchants can go from Cloud Integrated to Standalone by the flip of a switch, so your merchants have a backup at all times.

When the card reader is used as standalone, the merchant can simply type in an amount and start processing payments. The Handpoint standalone application offers a full set of functionalities, from powerful analytics to end-of-day reports and manual card entry for over-the-phone transactions (MOTO). Standalone mPOS application

The Handpoint mPOS application is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The mPOS application is connected via Bluetooth with the HiLite payment terminal and offers the same powerful yet simple functionalities as the standalone smartPOS application on your mobile device (phone or tablet).
